Trivia for your bar TV: atmosphere without organising anything

Quizá runs questions on a loop on your venue screen. Your customers scan the QR code, pick a nickname and play from their phones: no apps, no sign-up and nobody has to host.

  • No apps
  • No sign-up to play
  • Ready in 2 minutes

A quiz night without having to put it on

Quiz nights fill the place, but they take work: someone to host, new questions every week and a fixed day in the calendar.

With Quizá the screen runs by itself for the hours you decide: early evening drinks, a midweek dinner, the lazy afternoon after lunch… The questions come from the Quizá bank and, with the Pro plan, you can add your own.

How it works

1

Open Quizá on the TV

Go to quizatv.com/tv, note the 6-letter code and enter it in your dashboard. The screen is paired.

2

Your customers scan the QR code

The QR code is always on screen. Each customer picks a nickname and answers from their phone, with nothing to download.

3

They compete and climb the ranking

Points for right answers and for speed, a ranking on screen and a fun fact after every question.

What you get in bars and restaurants

No host needed

The screen asks, counts down and reveals the answer by itself. Your staff keep serving.

Teams across tables

In bars, customers create a team with a code and compete against the other teams in the venue… and against their own friends in the individual ranking at the same time.

Games with a start and an end

You choose how long each game lasts. When it ends, the screen announces the winner, shows the rankings and starts another with a countdown.

Rankings that hook people

For the game, the day, the month and all time, plus streaks of correct answers. A reason to come back for first place.

Your promotions between questions

With the Pro plan, your own ads appear every few questions: “2-for-1 on pints today”, the lunch menu or the next match.

How to use it

Quiz nights and early-evening drinks

A regular event that does not depend on someone hosting it.

Midweek and quiet hours

Give the screen something to show when there is no football on.

Restaurants and after-meal lulls

Tables stay entertained between courses, or while they wait for dessert and the bill.

A sample question

What is the capital of Australia?

  • A Sydney
  • B Canberra (correct answer)
  • C Perth
  • D Melbourne

💡 Canberra was chosen in 1908 as a compromise between Sydney and Melbourne.

What you need

  • A TV (Smart TV with a browser, Fire TV Stick, Chromecast or a mini PC) and an internet connection. You pair it with a 6-letter code in a couple of minutes.
  • Nothing else: customers play on their own phone and their own connection.
  • The screen plays in the language of its list, and each player can set their phone to another: Spanish, English, Catalan, Basque, Galician, French and Portuguese.

Start for free, grow when you want

The free plan includes 1 screen and all the themes in the question bank. If you want several screens or venues, your own questions, ads and your logo, the Pro plan costs €19 per screen per month.

Team mode (groups) is designed for bars and restaurants. In other venues, each person plays on their own.

Frequently asked questions

Does someone on my team need to run it?

No. Once the screen is paired, Quizá runs by itself. From your dashboard you can start a new game or schedule the time, but you do not have to.

What do I need to put it on the TV?

Yes. The screen plays in the language of its list, and each player can set their phone to another: Spanish, English, Catalan, Basque, Galician, French and Portuguese.

What if someone picks an offensive nickname?

Nicknames go through an automatic filter for offensive words in several languages, and nobody can use a nickname another player has already taken that day.
