A quiz session to play together

Quizá shows general knowledge questions on the TV in the lounge. With one phone or tablet per table, residents play together, at a gentle difficulty and with all the time they need.

  • No apps
  • No sign-up to play
  • Ready in 2 minutes
  • 7 languages

Activities everyone can follow together

In care homes and day centres the aim is for older people to take part, chat and feel looked after. A quiz is a classic, but preparing the questions and handling the answers is a lot of work.

Quizá takes care of the questions and the scoring. Care home staff only have to start the session and encourage everyone.

How it works

1

Put Quizá on the lounge TV

Open quizatv.com/tv on the big screen and pair it with your dashboard.

2

One tablet or phone per table

A relative, carer or volunteer scans the QR code and answers for the table, with a nickname such as “Table 2”.

3

They play and chat

The screen shows the question and the answer, with a fun fact. What matters is the conversation.

What you get in care homes and day centres

Gentle difficulty

You choose the level of the questions: easy, medium or hard. To begin with, easy.

Play as a group with a single device

A table can play with just one phone or tablet. Nobody has to handle their own phone.

Questions with time to think

The time to answer and to see the solution can be lengthened in the screen’s list.

No sound and no rush

The screen plays no audio: staff can read the questions aloud and keep the conversation going.

Your own content

With the Pro plan you can add questions about the town, the care home or local memories.

How to use it

Activity afternoons in the lounge
